One Tank Adventure

In the summer of Ford partnered with YouTube creator Devin "SuperTramp" Graham on a series of "One Tank Adventures".  With a small crew (and a trusting Client) we traveled around US with Devin & his merry band of adventure seekers - integrating the car in a natural sense and having a lot of fun in the process.

Videos racked up over 100 million views and counting...

How do you make Ford relevant to a group who doesn’t even have the brand on their radar? Well, you tap into the audience of someone who already has their attention - in this case, Devin SuperTramp.

To start, we released one video.  Then when Devin’s massive fan base started chiming in, we took their crazy ideas and created more.  The question was simple.  What would you do on a tank of gas? The adrenaline-charged films blew up overnight on YouTube with almost 10 million views. They also lived in a customizable video player that allowed visitors to plan their own adventures. We even took over the MSN homepage for a full week for the first time in website’s history.  The One Tank Adventure videos were picked up by media outlets all over the country.  And the campaign inspired fans, publishers and influencers to share their own One Tank adventures with tens of thousands of posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
