Social Stunts + Real Time Responses
The Oreo Tweet. It all kinda started there. Since that opportune tweet when the lights went out at SuperBowl XLVII - agencies across the nation spun up real-time response teams, news rooms and content studios. It was coming and social media already called for a better interaction between brands and fans. I have been lucky enough to orchestrate a few of these over the years - challenges, trends, made up holidays, brand moments - all fast acting/ break protocol / lawyers + creatives working together! Timelines shorten from 3 weeks to 3 days to 3 hours.
This included installing protocol, production efficiencies and fast acting briefings, as well as changing our perspective on how we do things. From shooting with iPhones & drones – as opposed to RED cameras and helicopters, we were able to move quickly and efficiently to take advantage of the moment. At it’s peak, we employed over 100 full time employees – strategist, creatives, data miners, Producers, coders – etc. Below is a sample of some of the work
