I am the co-founder of Ford XR – a mixed reality platform, NOT campaign - for Ford Motor Company. Over the course of the last few years, we convinced Ford top executives to invest in Virtual & augmented reality as a new comms channel, and not just a one-off campaign launch. I oversee both creative & production of everything AR/ VR/360 related.
Currently we have made 5 VR live-action films, added a VR -enabled player to Ford.com (in the shopper funnel), CES activation, countless 360 ads, Click to AR ad units, as well as a “virtual dealership”, Virtual test drives and soon a fully AR user manuals.
Wrote this piece establishing guidelines for Ford VR as well - Creating VR Guidelines for Your Brand and have spoken on panels (at AICP, ANA, IAB, Brandemonium, Facebook & SXSW) for this subject . On a personal level, I am very passionate about Mixed reality innovation in work and life. I shoot with my Samsung gear 360 whenever I can (at the annoyance of my wife)
